My name is Chelsea Rose Rippel, I grew up on the boardwalk of Venice Beach, California immersed in an eclectic network of folk and outsider artists. Raised by a single mother and rising blues musician, I began my art instruction at the Venice Arts Mecca, a community based art program for local underrepresented youth. Putting my skills to the test, as a young artist I sold paintings to the millions of tourists flooding the Venice strand.

Now creating within my cozy home studio space located in Portland Oregon; I specialize in acrylic painting, pen and ink illustration, surrealist portrait photography and body painting. The nature of my art is highly psychedelic, often reflecting my fascination with ancient lore, mystical creatures, the sacred feminine, metaphysical and paranormal theory. I feel that my creations are smoke signals and guides for myself and for those who are on their own journeys reaching out to grasp the rainbow roots of the soul and understand once again the cosmic truth of unity.
